About The Position
Impact Fire is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join their growing team in San Antonio. This role involves performing on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems, drawing new fire sprinkler systems from the ground up, running hydraulic calculations, and managing stocklists.
Requirements
- Competent working knowledge of NFPA 13
- 2 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD
- Experience with general submittal procedures to AHJ
Nice To Haves
- 5 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD
- Experience with Fire Pump design
- Experience with Standpipes
- Experience with Storage design
- NICET Level 2 in Water-Based Systems Layout
- RME-G preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy.
- Draw ground up new fire sprinkler systems.
- Run hydraulic calculations.
- Run and check stocklists.
