About The Position

We are seeking a Bilingual Fire Protection Sales Representative to drive business development across the Greater Montreal area. In this role, you will be responsible for growing market share by promoting Victaulic’s engineered fire protection solutions to engineering firms, contractors, and distributors. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities early, influencing specifications, and supporting projects from initial design through to execution. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven, technical sales environment and enjoys building long-term partnerships across a diverse customer base.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of outside sales experience in construction, fire protection, or related industries
  • Experience working with engineering firms, contractors, and distribution networks
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Bilingual in French and English (required)
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HVAC, industrial, PVF, municipal, or building products markets is an asset
  • Post-secondary education (engineering, business, or related field) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of fire protection solutions across the assigned territory
  • Identify, track, and influence major construction, retrofit, and expansion projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, owners, and distributors
  • Promote Victaulic products, systems, and technical solutions to key stakeholders
  • Plan and deliver presentations, training sessions, and seminars to support product adoption
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans, forecasts, and growth strategies
  • Gather and report market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, inside sales, and leadership) to ensure successful project execution
  • Support and develop distributor relationships to maintain strong customer service levels
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline updates, and territory performance
