About The Position

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Fire Safety Specialist, also referred to as an Outside Sales Representative, to join their rapidly growing company. This role is crucial for identifying, attracting, and closing new customers. The primary responsibility is selling new inspection contracts for fire sprinklers, fire alarms, backflow preventers, fire extinguishers, and kitchen hood and special hazard systems. This position requires a fast-paced, multi-tasked individual with a strong focus on sales, prospecting, and customer service. Travel to potential and existing customer sites is necessary.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s license and presentable vehicle required.
High School Diploma required.
5+ years of experience selling inspection or service contracts required.
Business to business sales experience.
Must be a self-starter.
Good communication skills.
Must have a proven record of accomplishments.
Significant experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) applications required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry a plus.
Mechanical aptitude or previous Fire Life Safety experience preferred.
Previous experience with Salesforce or another equivalent CRM system preferred.

Responsibilities

Prospecting for new customers by cold calling and visiting client sites.
Tracking activity in CRM system (Salesforce) and scheduling follow-up tasks.
Accurately gathering and cataloging new client contact and equipment information.
Performing site visits at client facilities to assess needs.
Providing quotes for new clients in a timely manner using the CRM system.
Closing sales.
Correctly transferring sales information to the inspection department.
Ensuring all tasks and leads are followed up on in a timely manner.
Attending networking and social marketing events to gain contacts.
Working seamlessly on large accounts.
