About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual with an interest in fire protection engineering to join their Denver office as a Fire Protection Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education in an accredited engineering program. This role offers the opportunity to work with a team of engineering professionals dedicated to excellence and to gain experience on exciting projects.
Requirements
- Enrolled as a full-time student in an engineering program (i.e. fire protection, mechanical, civil, architectural engineering, etc.) at a nationally recognized, accredited college
- Two years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate engineering degree
- Demonstrates knowledge of, and interest in, fire protection engineering
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientated and organized
- Reliable transportation is strongly preferred, as the role will involve commuting to our office as well as occasional attendance at off-site meetings and job walks
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
- No paid interview travel or relocation expenses are offered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer break.
- Occasional attendance at off-site meetings and job walks.
