Day in the Life of a Fire Protection Intern We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As a fire protection intern at Bell, you can expect to:
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Fire Protection required.
- Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience
- Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 – August 7, 2026.
- 3.0 GPA Preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates that are rising Sophomore or Junior classification during the 2025 internship.

Responsibilities
- Assist in design and analysis of fire protection systems
- Code and Standards Compliance
- Conduct Fire Risk Assessments
- Testing and Inspections
