About The Position

This role involves assisting with industrial fireproofing tasks in an operating facility. Responsibilities include preparing repair areas, installing formwork and metal lath, mixing materials, and applying fireproofing products. The work will be performed both at ground level in active areas and at heights on structural steel and equipment, requiring the use of fall protection and scaffolding. Punctuality, dependable attendance, and adherence to all safety procedures are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with industrial fireproofing tasks including repair area preparation, formwork installation, metal lath installation, material mixing, and application in an industrial setting at an operating facility.
• Operate power and hand tools to perform surface preparation.
• Measure and mix industrial fireproofing products, requiring the use of a half face respirator.
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment such as paddle mixers, pumps, and pressure washers.
• Safely handle, store, and label all materials.
• Perform fireproofing work at heights on installed structural steel and equipment, utilizing fall protection equipment and access scaffolding.
• Be punctual and maintain a dependable level of attendance.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
