About The Position
Incumbents in this class are responsible for conducting fire and life safety code compliance inspections. Ensures day care centers and group homes comply with local, state and federal fire and life safety codes. Explains code requirements and recommends corrective actions to gain compliance.
Requirements
- Education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in conducting inspections to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of applying national and local building and fire codes.
