Requirements
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
- Fewer than six active driving-record points and no alcohol or drug convictions within the past five years.
- Current Basic Emergency Medical Technician license and Firefighter I and II certification OR a Paramedic license.
- Ability to pass a post-offer criminal, civil and background investigations, as well as a physical examination, drug screen, and psychological examination.
- Ability to successfully complete all required pre-service and in-service training, including training provided by the Madison Heights Fire Department, assigned schools, and any training mandated by the state or federal government.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Michigan paramedic license
- Possess all required start-date credentials (Paramedic license in the State of Michigan, Firefighter I and II certificates from a State of Michigan-certified Fire Academy, Valid CPAT or OPAT)
