Fire Engineer Join a growing team delivering specialist fire safety and building compliance services across the UK. We're recruiting a Fire Engineer to join our growing team at Karntek. Requirements

A Fire Engineering degree or a relevant qualification in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, Approved Document B, British Standards, and associated guidance.
Experience producing fire strategies and undertaking fire engineering assessments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
A willingness to travel to client sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays where required.

Nice To Haves

Experience carrying out fire risk assessments under the BAFE SP205 scheme is desirable.

Responsibilities

Producing and reviewing fire strategies for a wide range of building types and occupancies.
Conducting and documenting comprehensive fire risk assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance under the BAFE SP205 scheme.
Supporting the development and review of Building Safety Cases and associated documentation.
Liaising with fire risk assessors to resolve validation issues and provide technical guidance relating to the BAFE SP205 scheme.
Providing expert fire engineering and fire safety advice to clients, project teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Keeping up to date with UK fire safety legislation, British Standards, Approved Documents, and industry best practice.
Working collaboratively with architects, design teams, contractors, and building managers to develop practical, compliant, and cost-effective fire safety solutions.
Participating in internal training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to support continuous improvement across the business.
