About The Position

The Fire Control Maintenance Dispatcher (On-Call) is responsible for providing excellent internal and external Guest Service by using excellent service and communication skills to support the guest, engineers, and other departments in their goals. This role is part of a courteous, professional, and engaging team that oversees all department operations as related to the life safety system and facility management system.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• 6+ months of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Strong typing and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Manage computerized maintenance management and life safety systems to prioritize, manage and dispatch maintenance team.
• Complete assigned administrative tasks on a consistent basis.
• Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention.
• Recognize required needs of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task.
• Own requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction.
• Answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas.
• Create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day.
• Prioritize guest requests and dispatches.
• Be knowledgeable of Department and Hotel goals, Hotel information to answer guest inquiries.
• Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.
