About The Position
Sioux Falls Fire Rescue is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to help support their Fire & Life Safety Education initiatives. Job duties include leading customer service interactions regarding inquiries and scheduling for smoke alarm installations and community outreach opportunities. This individual will also help lead community outreach opportunities such as school puppet shows and various public education opportunities at schools, assisted living homes, and other public events.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Leading customer service interactions regarding inquiries and scheduling for smoke alarm installations and community outreach opportunities.
- Leading community outreach opportunities such as school puppet shows and various public education opportunities at schools, assisted living homes, and other public events.
