About The Position

The sales representative is responsible for overseeing the sale of products or services from beginning to end and responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients. This individual is the direct point of contact with a customer and in charge of ensuring a customer’s needs and expectations are met.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate/negotiate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (Pierce Pulse, MS Office Products).
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude expected.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Residency must be within territory assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree or Associates Degree in business, marketing, or related area preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and expands key customer accounts; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Recommends product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Utilization of CRM for daily activities and reporting purposes.
  • Attend trade shows as required.
  • Schedules stock units for demo in territory.
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by maintaining unit, revenue and profit goals.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
