About The Position
Wiginton Fire Systems is seeking motivated individuals to train as Fire Alarm Service Technicians in our Sanford (Orlando) location. This role offers hands-on experience in fire protection, servicing, repairing, and installing fire alarm systems and other essential fire safety equipment under the guidance of experienced technicians. Responsibilities include assisting with on-site service calls, developing troubleshooting and programming skills, and mastering proper documentation procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working at heights
- Comfortable working outside
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Strong knowledge of Electronics, tools, equipment, and installation procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to go through apprenticeship school as well as state or national certifications
