Requirements

  • Experienced Project Manager with similar or transferrable industry knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and safety regulations preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using Procore and Salesforce is preferred.
  • Able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching throughout the workday.
  • Requires occasional pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
  • Must be able to wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Capable of driving company vehicles and transporting equipment or materials when needed.
  • Ability to remain alert and focused while performing detailed or repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to plan and execute fire alarm, suppression, and security projects.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for efficient project execution.
  • Partner with the design team to ensure timely provision of applicable drawings.
  • Ensure all fire alarm and suppression system installations comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Verify that each system is properly installed and commissioned before final acceptance tests with the AHJ and customer.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, monitoring and controlling costs for financial efficiency.
  • Plan and forecast project needs, including hours, in advance of on-site work.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, ensuring correct storage and archiving.
  • Ensure installation hours are correctly added and charged against managed projects.
  • Organize and attend project meetings, providing regular updates to all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate good communication between customers, design, and project teams.
  • Provide training and guidance to installation teams as needed.
  • Assist in the development of new business proposals and proposal reviews.
