About The Position

The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for providing installation and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers. Position is located in Vail/Eagle, Colorado.

Requirements

• Fire Alarm installation and service experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Certification operating scissor lifts
• Excellent communications, and customer service skills.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Seimens systems is a plus
• NICET Level II certification in fire alarm

Responsibilities

• Service and Installation of fire alarm systems.
• Crew leadership: lead and direct FA crew in daily work, assign duties ensure quality of work
• Coordination with Project Management and GC Installation of fire alarm systems.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
• Material management- communicate material needs and identification of shortages to PM
• Conduit- Perform conduit installation and layout
• Documentation: Maintain daily reports to PM
• Final Inspections and coordination with AHJ
• Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
