About The Position

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Lead Technician in Vail, Colorado. This role involves the installation and service of various fire alarm system devices, ensuring professional and timely execution. The technician will collaborate with the company to obtain local city listing agents, maintain a clean and organized vehicle, and ensure a safe working environment for themselves, colleagues, and customers. Requirements

  • Fire Alarm installation and service experience
  • Experience with Seimens systems is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • NICET Level II certification in fire alarm
  • Certification operating scissor lifts
  • Excellent communications, and customer service skills.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Responsibilities

  • Service and Installation of fire alarm systems.
  • Crew leadership: lead and direct FA crew in daily work, assign duties ensure quality of work
  • Coordination with Project Management and GC
  • Installation of fire alarm systems.
  • Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing.
  • Material management- communicate material needs and identification of shortages to PM
  • Conduit- Perform conduit installation and layout
  • Documentation: Maintain daily reports to PM
  • Final Inspections and coordination with AHJ
  • Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.
