We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm Design Intern located in Chicago, IL .
Requirements
- Candidates should be in good academic standing.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in AutoCAD
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Knowledge of the construction industry
Responsibilities
- Designing the layout of fire alarm systems and special hazards fire protection systems using AutoCAD-based software.
- Computer-generated hydraulic calculations.
- Submittal drawings to obtain required building permits.
- 3D BIM coordination using NavisWorks.
- Project scheduling.
- On-site field surveys.
- Material stock listing for pre-fabrication.
- Installation drawings.
- Preparing close-out and project operation and maintenance documents.
