About The Position
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in various fire protection system design projects. As a Fire Protection Design Intern, you will exercise your attention to detail while designing automatic sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK. Your responsibilities will also include designing a variety of fire protection sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes and within the scope of the contract. Additionally, you will prepare stock lists in the standard Company format, ensuring all details align with project requirements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience working in AutoCAD.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Designing automatic sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK.
- Designing a variety of fire protection sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable codes and within the scope of the contract.
