About The Position

We're seeking a Fintech Engineering Lead with directly leverable B2C banking, stablecoin, or payments experience. This is a critically important role where you'll collaborate with the technical founders to establish industry-standard engineering best practices. Your primary focus will be building a highly performant, reliable, and secure application from the ground up. The current stack includes a Python (FastAPI) monolith supported by Postgres and Redis on AWS. There's an openness to using Rust and/or Go for services requiring performance optimization. The backend serves a REST API that powers iOS, Android, and Web frontends. The role involves integrating with cryptocurrency wallet and banking service providers, as well as other services for authentication, ledgering, payment rails, and more. This is a complex financial services application that handles real money at scale, internationally.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and shipping fintech software.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following systems: ledgering, payments processing, stablecoin infra, risk/fraud management.
• Experience generally across the backend: working with Postgres, Redis, AWS, etc.
