Mindrift is recruiting native Finnish speakers living in New York City for a paid, in-person research study about how people use phones, apps, and everyday digital tools, and how those habits differ across languages and cultures. The study will help researchers understand how Finnish speakers use their devices so future products can better serve them. Participants will spend 1–3 days with the research team in Midtown Manhattan. They will demonstrate how they use their phone and favorite apps in daily life, share examples of everyday phone activity of their choosing, and complete a short questionnaire about their habits. Participation is voluntary and covered by a signed consent form explaining what is involved. Participants may ask questions at any time and may stop whenever they like. The posting describes the study as a 3-day in-person commitment, with availability for three consecutive days required (Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday). Compensation is $1,200–$1,600 for the full study. To apply, register on Mindrift and complete a short screening questionnaire; shortlisted participants will be contacted to confirm session dates.
