A Finishing Worker sets up and operates automatic and manual buffing and grinding equipment to remove excess flash from molded rubber parts and rubber to metal bonded seals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing experience preferred but may consider other backgrounds for entry level position

Responsibilities

  • Completes daily time card
  • Follows and signs work orders
  • If required, completes work order changes
  • Follows all safety rules
  • Adheres to the site Quality Policy
  • Successfully complete a 90 day probationary period
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Deflashes parts by sanding them with an inverted drill press
  • Deflashes parts by grinding them using a Tongil cylindrical grinder
  • Deflashes parts by grinding them using an automatic lathe
  • Deflashes parts by sanding them using a drum sander
  • Deflashes parts by sanding them using a 6" sanding lathe
  • Deflashes parts by sanding them using a manual sanding lathe
  • Drills holes in parts using a drill press
  • Punches holes in parts by hand
  • Measures parts
  • Trims parts by hand
