About The Position

The Finishing Utility performs work in a production environment, following written and verbal instructions and completing tasks accurately and efficiently. The role inspects and audits incoming products, internal processes, and finished products; follows safety policies and procedures; and works effectively as part of a team. The position requires clear communication, problem-solving, regular attendance, and a willingness to work overtime when required. The posted starting pay is $20.44 per hour, with pay up to $23.92 per hour.

Requirements

• Two to three years of work experience.
• Knowledge and application of safe work practices.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
• Math and computer skills.
• Ability to distinguish between colors and different wood species.
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer capabilities, including Excel, Word, and LINCs.
• Basic knowledge of the QMS and ability to promote its awareness and use among coworkers.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work effectively without close supervision.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions and lifting.
• Ability to stand for at least nine hours per day.
• Hand dexterity and strength.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• One year of production experience or similar experience in carpentry or a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
