Finishing Technician
About The Position
Interprint, Inc. is a designer and printer of decor paper used as the design layer in laminate surfaces, including countertops, flooring, furniture, store fixtures, and other applications. The Finishing Technician prepares and wraps rolls for shipping, enters data into SAP, maintains the work area, and assists the Rewind Operator as needed. The role is based at 101 Central Berkshire Blvd., Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The listed pay rate is $18.75–$19.75 per hour, including shift differential. The regular schedule is second shift, 1:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. When business needs require, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; overtime is available based on business need.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrate a good attitude toward work and arrive on time for the start of the shift.
- Follow instructions and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Communicate well with others.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, mainly on your feet.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Completion of vocational or college training in a machine shop.
- Previous work experience in the same or a similar field.
