About The Position

Hadady, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar, manufactures parts for diesel and natural gas engines. The Finishing Technician is responsible for finishing and shipping operations, including cleaning and inspecting parts, preparing parts for painting, and preparing products for shipment. The role is hired for the 3rd shift; training takes place on 1st shift for up to two months before moving to the hired shift. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive operations.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Blueprint-reading experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use the Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy.
• Dip or power-clean pieces to ensure parts are free from dirt and chips.
• Dip parts into rust remover.
• Oil parts before packaging.
• Perform final inspections of parts.
• Band work pieces and prepare them for shipping.
