About The Position

Join our Fabrication team as a Grinder and play an important role in ensuring every component meets the high standards our customers expect. Our Weekend Shift is designed to give you more time for life while rewarding your commitment. Work just 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Grinding, metal finishing, or sandblasting experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and engineering prints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading and understanding).
  • Dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Push and pull materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, reach overhead, climb ladders or stairs, and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • Safely operate hoists, pallet jacks, and small hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Grind, clean, and finish welded components using established procedures.
  • Perform chipping, tacking, surface preparation, and cleaning as required.
  • Inspect parts for proper weld placement, completeness, and quality using engineering prints.
  • Complete quality audit forms and required production documentation.
  • Load finished parts onto carts and move materials to staging areas.
  • Safely operate hoists and other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support other production activities as assigned.
