Responsibilities

  • Perform various operations including cosmetic inspection, trimming, part marking, packaging, and wash on parts to achieve the required surface dimension and finish.
  • Inspect part quality.
  • Detect and report defective material and any unusual conditions to the department Supervisor or Lead.
  • Utilize ERP system.
  • Utilize GDP on CI Sheets and work orders.
  • Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
  • Follow designated safety rules and regulations.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives.
  • Dimensionally inspect work, using appropriate tools including, but not limited to; calipers, comparators, pin gauges, measuring instruments and surface plates, etc. as required.
  • Perform weekly housekeeping per 5S schedule.
  • Follow work orders to perform operations on various parts and products.
  • Reinforce safety expectations. Ensure safety operating practices are demonstrated. Report issues/concerns to Supervisor.
  • Support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Complete all required training.
