About The Position

Finishing Spray Applicator I at Weatherby ensures that rifles not only perform at the highest level but also look exceptional. This role involves careful disassembly, expert CERAKOTE® application, and reassembly, directly shaping the quality and appearance of firearms. The Finishing Spray Applicator I is responsible for applying CERAKOTE® coating to firearms, including surface preparation, spray application, curing, and inspection. This role requires consistency, precision, and attention to detail to ensure Weatherby products meet the highest standards for durability and aesthetics.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents including safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply basic math and use measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in standardized processes.
• Ability to meet respirator use requirements, including maintaining a clean seal between the face and respirator, and completing medical evaluation and fit testing.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Guide each order through the CERAKOTE® coating process, including prep and use of multiple automated and manual machines.
• Operate spray guns with efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area.
• Support continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
