About The Position

The Finishing Spray Applicator I is responsible for applying CERAKOTE® coating to firearms. This includes surface preparation, spray application, curing, and inspection. This role requires consistency, precision, and attention to detail to ensure Weatherby products meet the highest standards for durability and aesthetics.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents including safety rules and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply basic math and use measuring instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in standardized processes.
Must be 18 or older.
Ability to meet respirator use requirements, including maintaining a clean seal between the face and respirator, and completing medical evaluation and fit testing.

Responsibilities

Guide each order through the CERAKOTE® coating process, including prep and use of multiple automated and manual machines.
Operate spray guns with efficiency and consistency.
Maintain a clean and efficient work area.
Support continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
