About The Position

Located at our Byron Center, MI location, the person in this position would assist with assembly of exterior doors. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy, and timeliness of assembly exterior doors. Working with all teams of production to assembly exterior doors. Paint and Stain touch up of trim and brickmold. Inspection and touch up the sidelites and door panels as needed. Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of assigned work area. Performing other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor. At Lumbermen’s, our business is built on relationships. This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED required
Prior construction experience
Strong communication skills
Safe working practices
Natural detail-orientation
Ability to accurately read orders and assembly to customer specifications
Ability to lift up to 75 lb.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
