About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. 3M is seeking Finishing Operator candidates in Chelmsford, MA! Full-time 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) Pay Starting at $24.02/hour plus an additional $.81/hour shift differential New hires start with 3 weeks paid vacation + 12 paid Holidays Health, vision and dental start day one Employee stock discount 401K Match of 5%. As a Finishing Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by performing print/cut/inspection of expanded tubing to pre-determined lengths using Goodman Cutter, routinely setting up Goodman Cutter blades for proper cut quality, and routinely operating all Finishing converting equipment beyond Goodman, including Spooler, Eubanks, Upright Shear, Touch-Up, Kitting, and Repack. You will also accurately record production information including quantity, lot #, labor/setup hours, test results, and routinely clean and set-up Domino printer for desired print characteristics. Maintain a clean and organized work center and work in a safe manner. Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.
High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing Experience
Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
