Finishing Operator - Die Cutting

Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating die cutting equipment (experience with Bobst Speria 106E preferred) in a commercial printing environment.
- Excellent eye for detail
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Communicate effectively with manufacturing personnel
- Minimum knowledge of computers (knowledge of Pace is a plus)
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to push/pull loaded pallet jacks and/or rolling carts
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds on occasion

Responsibilities
- Operating die cutting machines
- Producing high quality printing jobs
- Meeting customer and company expectations

- Following team leader instructions for Finishing processes
- Keeping jobs and production floor clean and organized
- Setting up and running Bobst Speria 106E for die cutting, including troubleshooting
- Setting up make readies on die cutter
- Performing daily, monthly and quarterly maintenance on die cutting machine
- Communicating any job specifics, issues or other pertinent information regarding jobs to the next shift, if necessary
- Keeping accurate and complete daily records for data collection
- Meeting company and departmental standards, including: Customer Requirements, Compliance, Safety, Quality, etc.
- Following Lahlouh ISO Quality Procedures and Work Instructions, and complete forms and checklists as necessary
- Following Lahlouh policies outlined in the company handbook
- Performing other duties as required
- Attending department and company meetings
- Assisting in training new and temporary employees
