About The Position

The Finishing Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the final stages of the production process to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This position is responsible for managing finishing operations, including surface treatments, coatings, packaging, and final inspections. The Finishing Manager collaborates closely with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize workflow and maintain efficient turnaround times. They lead and develop a team of finishing operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Ultimately, the Finishing Manager ensures that finished products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of finishing processes such as painting, coating, plating, or surface treatment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage production schedules effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all finishing department activities to meet production schedules and quality requirements.

  • Collaborate with quality control to identify and resolve product defects or process issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels of finishing materials and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely supply.
