Goebel is seeking a skilled and motivated Wood Finisher to join our growing team. Requirements

• Handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and urgency
• Experience in a wood or metal finishing environment
• Experience with sanding and painting using lacquer, urethane, waterborne, and polyester finishes
• Experience painting with a variety of spray equipment
• Attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of measuring and calculating
• Knowledge of fixture assembly and construction
• Ability to read construction and assembly drawings
• Understand and meet Client quality expectations
• Work in accordance with all Company and regulatory safety requirements
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finish wood and metal products using various techniques
• Work with a variety of finishes to achieve high quality results
• Perform touch up and repairs
• Help maintain and perform maintenance on finishing equipment
• Assist with formulating stains, dyes and pigments
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
