Finishing Machine Operator
About The Position
FSSI, a leading document outsourcing company servicing Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S. for over 45 years, is looking for a Bindery Machine Operator to join their team in Santa Ana, CA. This position is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of bindery and print finishing machinery in a high-volume print and mail processing environment. The full-time schedule is Monday – Friday, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. Overtime is scheduled as needed and could require coming in earlier, staying later, and working weekend shifts during high-volume production cycles.
Requirements
- Must have related experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, production, or related environment.
- Flexibility in work schedule to work overtime when needed is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bindery experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of GEP Finishing Systems is a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set-up machinery that performs print finishing operations, such as, inserting, folding, cutting, tabbing, stamping, UV coating, booklet making, and inkjet printing.
- Learn and follow all established quality control procedures to consistently produce with accuracy.
- Flexibility in work schedule, frequently 10 or more hours per day and some weekend shifts, is required on a recurring basis.
