Our primary needs are currently 2nd & 3rd Shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Entry-level role; no prior experience required.
Basic computer, math, and reading skills required, including the ability to read and understand job tickets, measurements, and rulers (standard and metric).
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Works well in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
Demonstrates the ability to complete assigned tasks while maintaining a high standard of performance.
Assertive, solution-focused, and able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods.
Frequent walking required; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Vision correctable to 20/20 if required.
Ability to differentiate colors and meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to input data into computer systems and complete required documentation accurately.
Satisfactory attendance record required.

Nice To Haves

Print or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Promptly report all safety concerns or incidents to your immediate supervisor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Understand, follow, and comply with all applicable Quality System Documents and actively participate in MCC’s Lean, Quality, Product Safety, SQF (Safe Quality Foods), and Workplace Safety programs.
Learn and perform entry-level manufacturing tasks while training to take on more advanced machine operation responsibilities. Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Perform a variety of tasks to support production, safety, quality, and productivity, including assisting operators as needed and participating in special projects or other duties as assigned.
Perform basic quality checks, verify order quantities, ensure proper product identification, and take precautions to prevent product mix-ups.
Prepare packaging materials, separate acceptable and nonconforming products, verify quantities, stack cartons properly on pallets, and supply production or finishing areas with materials as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned departments and warehouse areas; regularly empty trim and waste bins.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, complete required paperwork accurately, listen actively, seek feedback, and remain flexible and open-minded while working as part of a team.
