Our primary needs are currently 2nd & 3rd Shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Entry-level role; no prior experience required.
  • Basic computer, math, and reading skills required, including the ability to read and understand job tickets, measurements, and rulers (standard and metric).
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Works well in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to complete assigned tasks while maintaining a high standard of performance.
  • Assertive, solution-focused, and able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods.
  • Frequent walking required; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20 if required.
  • Ability to differentiate colors and meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to input data into computer systems and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Satisfactory attendance record required.

  • Print or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. Promptly report all safety concerns or incidents to your immediate supervisor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Understand, follow, and comply with all applicable Quality System Documents and actively participate in MCC’s Lean, Quality, Product Safety, SQF (Safe Quality Foods), and Workplace Safety programs.
  • Learn and perform entry-level manufacturing tasks while training to take on more advanced machine operation responsibilities. Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Perform a variety of tasks to support production, safety, quality, and productivity, including assisting operators as needed and participating in special projects or other duties as assigned.
  • Perform basic quality checks, verify order quantities, ensure proper product identification, and take precautions to prevent product mix-ups.
  • Prepare packaging materials, separate acceptable and nonconforming products, verify quantities, stack cartons properly on pallets, and supply production or finishing areas with materials as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned departments and warehouse areas; regularly empty trim and waste bins.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, complete required paperwork accurately, listen actively, seek feedback, and remain flexible and open-minded while working as part of a team.
