About The Position

This is a temp-to-full-time position where the Finishing Associate will process parts according to customer requirements. The role involves working with castings, ensuring quality through visual inspection and audits, and maintaining production flow. The associate will also be responsible for data entry, recommending process improvements, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Comfortable in a high heat environment.
Ability to read and understand work instructions.
Ability to write and complete required paperwork and enter information into Plex system.
Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be willing to submit to a national background check.

Responsibilities

Process castings through automated finish cell per job specific work instructions.
Load saw fixture for gating and riser removal.
Visually inspect casting per customer requirements while maintaining production flow.
Perform audits and gage parts when required.
Record scrap and/or production information into Plex.
Recommend improvements for completing tasks and/or finishing improvement.
Maintain work area keeping it sand free.
Perform other duties as assigned.
