About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall finishing operation of furniture, including repair, spraying, detailing, highlighting, sanding and distressing. The job involves inspecting and repairing high-end quality furniture to ensure it is free from defects and that the color match is correct. The role encompasses all facets of the wood finishing process and requires the use of various machines and hand tools. Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is mandatory, along with performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous finishing experience a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.
• Ability to perform frequent repetitive motions requiring grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine hand manipulation.
• Ability to perform occasional reaching at or below shoulder level.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; rarely up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operating various machines, including a rub machine and pallet jack.
• Operating numerous hand tools.
• Following all safety policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
