About The Position

This role is responsible for various tasks related to finishing parts to meet customer specifications. This includes gathering, verifying, and finishing parts through processes like trimming, routing, drilling, and repairing. The position also involves inspecting parts for defects, cleaning them, identifying and labeling them correctly, and selecting appropriate packaging. The Finisher contributes to team efforts and ensures compliance with environmental standards. The shift for this position is typically from 7 am to 2 pm, with potential for overtime extending to 4 pm.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent training.
Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of safety regulations.
Ability to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. on average during a normal workday.
Ability to operate computers.
Ability to distinguish colors.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to read and interpret basic documents, safety rules and other correspondence.

Responsibilities

Determining parts to be gathered by reading relevant product reports and electronic travelers.
Pulling parts per materials list and checking quantities.
Verifying parts using E-Docs.
Reporting missing parts to the supervisor.
Finishing parts by trimming, routing, drilling, and repairing to customer specifications.
Visually inspecting parts for defects.
Cleaning parts by removing excess dust, grime, etc.
Identifying colors and part numbers, and labeling properly.
Selecting, constructing, and loading finished parts into packaging.
Verifying labeling against the part prior to closing packaging for color and part number.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintaining compliance with environmental standards by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Performing any additional duties as requested.
