About The Position

Our employees are actively involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of technologically advanced medical devices that ensure that we meet our customer’s quality specifications for each product we produce. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finisher I to join our #OneAvalign Team. In this role, you will perform finishing operations, including mass finishing, cleaning and passivation, etc. to meet customer requirements for medical instruments and implants. This position is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is a 1st shift with the following schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A quick learner who is always ready to gain depth of knowledge in manufacturing processes

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with inspection tools and blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain finishing equipment to smooth, polish, clean, and passivate medical devices and implants.
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and inspection sheets to meet quality specifications.
  • Perform quality checks using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Complete production paperwork accurately and enter data into company systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Crosstrain in other finishing processes.
  • Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations; wears personal protective equipment in accordance with safety and training guidelines.
