About The Position
FM Industries is a premier manufacturing solutions provider specializing in build to print, precision machined components, anodizing, and engineered thermal spray coatings. They provide customers with leading-edge support from prototype to production. This role is responsible for deburring, sanding, and cleaning parts with simple to intermediate complexity on various materials such as aluminum, steel, plastic, and copper, under the direction of an area Lead or Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous finishing experience up to two years
Responsibilities
- Deburring, sanding, and cleaning parts on repeat or proven part(s) with simple to intermediate complexity on a various material such as aluminum, steel, plastic, and copper with direction from area Lead or Supervisor.
- Utilizing shop paper procedure including updates, signatures, and stamps, counting quantities, labeling and non-conformance related activities.
- Ensuring an accurate router accompanies all work orders.
- Operating a variety of pneumatic or electric power finishing tools such but not limited to orbital sander, DA Sander, flappers and die grinders.
