About The Position

We are currently seeking a Finished Goods Warehouse Operator! Qualified candidates will have a high level of integrity and the essential attributes to be a vital part of a winning team. We are looking for a highly motivated, dependable team member who wants to help Titan Coatings grow to record levels. You are the final link between Titan’s manufacturing operation and the customer — the last person to touch the product before it leaves the building — and the accuracy, speed, and care you apply directly determine whether Titan delivers on its commitments. You will handle drums, totes, and pails of both solvent-based and water-based coatings, operate a forklift every shift, and prepare DOT hazmat shipments. Your internal customers are the Filling Department and Quality Control. This position reports to our Production Supervisor / Shipping Manager.

  • Strong attention to detail under time pressure: products, batches, quantities, and labels.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality regulations; team-player attitude.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally, and maneuver drums.

  • Safe forklift operation: speed limits, horn at blind corners, seatbelt, no passengers, and yield to pedestrians.
  • Daily pre-shift forklift inspection; never run equipment that fails, and report deficiencies immediately.
  • Observe load-capacity and stacking-height limits; operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and strapping tools safely.
  • Follow all SDS and spill-response procedures; report spills, near-misses, and injuries immediately.
  • Continuous housekeeping and 5S; keep travel lanes, exits, and safety equipment unobstructed.
  • Support cycle and annual inventory counts; complete department paperwork and shipping logs.
  • Report equipment failures to Maintenance; DOT hazmat training and applicable RCRA knowledge required.
  • Receive sealed drums, totes, and pails from filling; verify labels, seals, and counts against the batch ticket before put-away.
  • Transport finished goods to storage by forklift; stack pallets safely within approved heights.
  • Update inventory in Datacor on put-away; support WMS barcode scanning as it is implemented.
  • Segregate and clearly mark QC-hold, customer-hold, and rework product away from shippable goods.
  • Pick orders per the shipping schedule and pick list; verify product, batch, quantity, and container type exactly.
  • Stage orders by customer, carrier, and pickup time; inspect labels, seals, and container condition.
  • Load trucks by forklift; confirm the carrier and truck match the order, and secure loads against shifting.
  • Verify loaded quantity against the bill of lading and packing list; obtain the driver’s signature.
  • Prepare DOT hazmat paperwork and trailer placarding for solvent-based (Class 3 flammable) shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and FIFO rotation; store goods per NFPA flammable-liquid requirements.
  • Complete shipping documentation accurately; enter and close shipments in Datacor promptly.
  • Work with urgency for OTIF and flag any threat to on-time shipment; coordinate with filling, return promptly from breaks, pursue safety/efficiency/quality improvements, and perform all other duties as assigned.
