This work area is not climate-controlled, and associates typically work independently for most of the day. The environment is clean and well-maintained, without excessive dust or dirt, but it can be loud due to operational equipment. Employees should be comfortable working in these conditions and maintaining focus in a high-activity setting.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory
- Ability to use Warehouse Management System (WMS) for product tracking
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot RF scanners for inventory and data accuracy
- Attention to detail for quality checks and labeling accuracy
Responsibilities
- Monitor the finished product loop to ensure continuous flow and operational efficiency
- Monitor all equipment on the loop (wrap machine, scanners, alarm system)
- Monitor finish good containers for any quality issues
- Correct any labeling or pallet issues
- Inspect finished goods containers for quality issues and report discrepancies to supervisor
- Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to verify product data and resolve rejection issues
- Send products requiring further QA inspection up pallet elevator
- Correct labeling and pallet issues to maintain packaging standards
- Assist in relocating products when dock conveyors are full to prevent bottlenecks
- Act as the first point of contact for maintenance regarding receiving loop issues
