Requirements

Two year's education or equivalent knowledge in automotive painting.
Ability to manually move product and material up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to: lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending.
Using overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to paint in a variety of positions including but no limited to: kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning and climbing; while working on concrete surfaces, ladders and inside dump bodies.
Ability to determine and make painting equipment adjustments as needed, read complicated instructions, use measuring devices and perform basic computer data entry.
Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs.
Ability to successfully complete a pulmonary exam and medical questionnaire to be evaluated by the company appointed PLHCP in order to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate painting equipment to paint truck bodies or parts.
Assist with continuous process improvement and lean initiatives by following process flow, remaining flexible to complete tasks as part of the team, maintaining a clean work environment and offering suggestions for improvements.
