About The Position

Rummel Construction is seeking an experienced Gannon Operator. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for operating a Gannon with knowledge of hazards and safety precautions and awareness and of cut/fill operations for a variety of projects. Performance of routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervision is required daily. As a Gannon Operator with Rummel you'll find yourself operating some of the newest and most well-maintained equipment.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in the construction industry operating heavy equipment
• Experience in earthmoving and heavy construction with knowledge of cut/fill operations from a variety of projects
• Experience in finish ABC, drainage, landscape grading or reestablishment with grade tractor in residential, commercial and paving environments

Responsibilities

• Operating a Gannon with knowledge of hazards and safety precautions
• Awareness of cut/fill operations for a variety of projects
• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Referring defects or repairs to supervision daily
• Understanding grading stakes and guidelines on ground or positioning equipment
