About The Position

WEG is seeking a Finish Assembler to join its growing U.S. team for Power Transformers. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically or electrically inclined, possess a strong work ethic, and are looking for a serious career opportunity. The position involves working the evening shift and requires the ability to perform various assembly tasks.

Requirements

Able to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values.
Able to work evening shift.
Able to read tape measure and use small hand tools.
Able to climb ladders and use lifts.
Reside or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance - no relocation assistance available.
Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
Must successfully complete an application, talent assessment, on-site interview, drug screen, and background check.
Must pass a drug screen that includes THC due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent.
Two years prior manufacturing experience with proven experience as a production or machine operator.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as BOMs, drawings, and work instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.

Responsibilities

Assemble power transformers according to technical documents, BOMs, drawings, and work instructions.
Utilize small hand tools for assembly tasks.
Climb ladders and use lifts as required for assembly.
Adhere to the WEG Code of Ethics & Values.
Ensure quality control and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
