About The Position

The Fine Jewelry Merchandise Supervisor supervises and engages a team of Fine Jewelry associates to deliver an excellent customer shopping experience and build customer loyalty. The role provides customer service and sales leadership, supervises staff, schedules coverage, and leads consistent execution of activities that drive sales. The supervisor also works with store management on hiring, training, associate development, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions that drive sales, profit, or customer service, and to execute work efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to inspire strong performance in oneself and others.
• Ability to develop positive relationships, build networks, respect different styles, and communicate effectively to a wide audience.
• Proactive approach to improving customer experience, confidence to do what is right, and ability to act with energy and urgency.
• Confident leadership and willingness to take on challenging assignments; ability to handle conflict quickly and positively.

Responsibilities

• Model and hold the team accountable for outstanding customer service; listen to customer issues and resolve problems.
• Schedule staff appropriately to maximize sales and service coverage.
• Plan and execute events and credit card acquisition efforts.
• Supervise and engage associates to drive profitable sales growth; coach and develop the team to build customer relationships and improve productivity and sales.
• Direct and support efficient merchandise flow to the sales floor, maintain stock levels, and uphold presentation standards.
• Partner with the store management team to source and hire hourly store talent.
• Train and develop associates, provide in-the-moment coaching, address performance issues, and partner with the General Manager on store succession planning.
• Meet performance standards relating to shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel, scheduling efficiency, associate relations, engagement, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
