About The Position

Harborside Restaurant at South Seas is seeking polished, service-driven Upscale Dining Servers to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a waterfront resort setting. This position plays a key role in creating memorable moments for guests through attentive, personalized service and extensive menu and beverage knowledge.

Requirements

• One year of upscale dining, resort, hotel, or fine dining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and service etiquette.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Required certifications as applicable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
• Must be 18 years old or older to hold this role, serving/selling alcohol in state of FL
• Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State regulations)
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, up to 40 pounds
• Must be able work in different types of weather sometimes extreme, including high temperatures and humidity.
• The ideal Harborside Server is passionate about hospitality, takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences, and consistently demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Flexible Schedule: days and times may vary based on need including weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create an upscale dining experience.
• Present menus, daily features, chef specials, and beverage offerings.
• Provide recommendations on food, wine, cocktails, and pairings.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and communicate special requests.
• Serve food and beverages according to resort and fine dining standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address concerns.
• Process guest payments accurately and professionally.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
