About The Position

Randall's Restaurant is looking for an experienced Fine Dining Server to join our front-of-house team. We are conveniently located in the midst of the beautiful rolling hills of Orefield, Pennsylvania - a short drive from Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton. Randall’s uses the finest fresh local ingredients to offer a menu featuring seafood, steaks, and veal dishes along with creative weekly features. We are celebrating 15 Years of Culinary Excellence.

Requirements

• Fine dining experience, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of all menus and terminology.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to stand for 5+ hours and carry heavy trays of food.
• Previous food service work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge of our food and bar menus, with the expertise to make suggestions.
• Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Engage with customers in a professional manner.
• Enter orders accurately into POS terminals for transmittal to kitchen staff.
• Ensure tables are enjoying their visit and troubleshoot as needed.
• Collect payments from tables.
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
• Help food preparation staff when necessary.
