About The Position

Ten Five Hospitality is launching The Oak Room, a restaurant and lounge concept in Georgetown, and is seeking experienced fine-dining servers to help create an elevated dining experience. Servers create warm, memorable guest experiences through attentive service, strong menu knowledge, and anticipation of guest needs. The role calls for strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment committed to hospitality and high standards.

Requirements

At least two years of previous fine-dining experience.
Experience with food and wine pairing.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Ability to focus on guest interactions while multitasking.
Ability to work as a team player and anticipate others’ needs.
Positive attitude.
Understanding of sequence of service and coursing.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for extended periods.
Ability to lift trays of food or drinks up to 20 pounds and bend or lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to perform cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide warm, attentive, and gracious service to every guest.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of food and beverage menus and the company.
Communicate food and beverage specials.
Take orders efficiently and accurately, including noting allergies and substitutions.
Mark tables with the appropriate utensils for each dish.
Conduct quality checks with guests.
Bus and reset tables, replenishing items as needed.
Support successful beverage service and maintain a positive flow of business.
Present checks promptly and process payments accurately.
Maintain proper napkin service and etiquette.
Keep side stations clean, stocked, and organized.
Complete end-of-shift financial procedures accurately.
Perform other duties as assigned.
