About The Position

Harrimans at Salamander Middleburg is seeking an experienced Fine Dining Restaurant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in one of the region's most celebrated restaurants. This is a hands-on leadership role for an energetic hospitality professional who enjoys coaching teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving operational excellence, and creating memorable dining experiences. You'll lead from the floor, inspire your team, and ensure every guest receives the luxury service that defines Salamander Middleburg.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of restaurant management experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and guest service skills.
  • Experience with restaurant operations, labor management, scheduling, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fine dining, luxury hotels, upscale restaurants, country clubs, or resorts preferred.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operation and flow of the restaurant to ensure seamless, Forbes-level service.
  • Provide visible leadership on the dining room floor while supporting both Front of House and Back of House operations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Service Professionals through daily feedback, training, and performance coaching.
  • Create and maintain opening, closing, side-work, and operational checklists to ensure consistency and accountability.
  • Conduct daily line-ups covering VIP arrivals, menu features, service standards, and operational priorities.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, schedule, and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
  • Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction by anticipating guest needs and resolving concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef to deliver outstanding food quality, wine service, and exceptional hospitality.
  • Monitor labor, productivity, inventory, and operating costs while achieving financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company standards.
  • Promote a positive culture built on teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and service excellence.
